More Than a Job: Be the Foundation of a Brand New Orlando College Campus

By SEU Team • August 2, 2025 • 6-minute lecture

Think about the first day at a new school. The excitement, the potential, the feeling of a fresh start. But before a single student walks through the doors, before a single teacher prepares a lesson, a dedicated team performs the most essential work of all: they build the environment. They turn an empty building into a place of welcome, opportunity, and learning.

For the brand-new Orange Technical College East Campus in Orlando, we are assembling that foundational team right now. We are looking for dedicated School Custodians for a special project that goes far beyond daily cleaning. This is a chance to be there from the very beginning.

The Mission: Building a Campus from the Ground Up

This isn’t a typical custodial role. This is a hands-on, high-impact project. Your mission will be to physically prepare the campus for its grand opening. This means you will be a crucial part of:

  1. Setting the Stage: Moving furniture, setting up classrooms, and arranging spaces to create an organized and efficient learning environment.
  2. Creating a Flawless First Impression: Performing the deep, detailed cleaning that makes a new building truly shine. From gleaming floors to sanitized surfaces, your work will be the first thing students and staff notice.
  3. Ensuring a Safe Start: Organizing the campus and ensuring every space is safe, orderly, and ready for high-traffic use.

Your contribution is tangible. At the end of each day, you will see the progress you’ve made—a classroom ready for students, a common area ready for collaboration, a campus ready for its community.

The Qualities of a Foundation Team Member

To be a part of this special project, we are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and understand its importance. The ideal team member is:

  1. Reliable and Punctual: We count on you to be there, ready to contribute to the team’s goals.

  2. Hands-On and Hardworking: This is a physical role that requires energy and a can-do attitude. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  3. Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for the details that make a big difference, ensuring every corner is clean and every task is completed to a high standard.

  4. A Positive Team Player: You enjoy working with others toward a shared goal and contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.

Be Part of Day One in Orlando

This is a unique opportunity to make a visible impact and be part of a new chapter for Orange Technical College. You won’t just be maintaining a building; you’ll be launching it.

If you are a reliable and motivated individual looking for meaningful, hands-on work in Orlando, we invite you to join our foundation team.
