Roll-Off Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are a leading asphalt paving and construction company in Cocoa, FL, seeking a reliable, skilled, and safety-minded Roll-Off Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport asphalt, construction materials, debris, and other loads to and from construction sites. This role is crucial to our operations, contributing significantly to the success of our projects and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate roll-off dump trucks adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Transport asphalt, construction debris, and other materials to and from job sites in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and report any problems or damages immediately.

Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions, ensuring timely and efficient completion of deliveries.

Load and unload materials as required, ensuring loads are properly secured to prevent spillage or damage.

Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper distribution of cargo.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, construction crew, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status, complying with state and federal regulations.

Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining courteous interactions with clients, colleagues, and the public.

Qualifications:

 A Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B) is required.

Previous experience driving a roll-off dump truck preferred but not mandatory.

Familiarity with construction industry practices and materials preferred.

A clean driving record and understanding of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Strong work ethic and punctuality with commitments.

Excellent physical condition and stamina to handle the rigors of the job, including working in various weather conditions.

Exceptional attention to safety standards and protocols.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
