Position Summary

The School Crossing Guard is responsible for ensuring the safe passage of children and pedestrians across designated intersections near schools. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to public safety. Guards must adhere to all city, state, and departmental regulations and maintain a courteous and authoritative presence at all times.

Assigned School Crosswalks within North Miami Beach

Hours

  • Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Approx. 210 days/year (180 regular school days + 30 summer school days)
